Education City Tour

Driven by the Emir’s mother Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Education City is an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Science, Technology, Education and Community Development. Located in Al Rayyan Municipality, it is the home of some of the world’s major Universities, Qatar National Library, a centre for Islamic Studies, Mathaf Museum (the home to the world’s largest collection of Modern Art), Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Al Shaqab Horse Racing Academy and Oxygen Park.

Inclusions: Pick-up and drop off from your location in Doha, air-conditioned transportation, bottled

water, and an English-speaking guide. Other language guides are chargeable extra.

Exclusion: Food and Museum Entry Fees, if any. Mathaf - Arab Museum of Modern Art entry fee, free.

Tour Highlights: Qatar National Library, Qatar Foundation Mosque, Mathaf - Arab Museum of Modern Art, Education City Stadium (from outside), The Miraculous Journey Sculpture by Damien Hirst

Restrictions: Sudden closure of sites, changes in museum tickets fees. 

Dress Code: Please wear clothes that cover your knees and elbows.
